This song is about transition and decision, and all the thoughts that swirl around it. Lead guitar riffs, Vocal harmony and gang vocals were done or assisted by Connor Boyle. The bass was half Christian and half Connor. Everything else done by Christian Lyon.
lyrics
My car is working hard
You’ve left all of your salt out in the street
I’m resting on the door
Steeping sounds and I am sound asleep
“Our tendons and muscle fibers
Tense up and set on fire
I’m desperate but I’m not buying”
So I stretched out and started lying
If our hearts are pumping ink,
Are we left with something in between
Abstraction and Industry?
But foreign words have entered in the stream
“Our tendons and muscle fibers
Tense up and set on fire
I’m desperate but I’m not buying”
So I stretched out and started lying
Our blood vessels are confined
Waking up to tail lights
